The poster pictured is not AOR 4.105, but it is similar.

Re: AOR 2.108 Grateful Dead Matrix 66 Kley

Is there a real 2nd printing that measures 14 7/8 by 17 1/4. I only ask because I would think that it would have been added to the drop down by now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Grateful-Dead-Fillmore-Era-Matrix-Concert-Poster-1966-/170764378065?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c2599fd1 There is no "rea...

The "Alternate Handbill" listing is not a handbill. It is a ticket for the event.

 Classic Posters response to misrd1’s libelous and defamatory post Regular participants in this forum will recall a post from MIRDS1 about 2 weeks ago. That post was critical of Classic Posters, suggesting that it was unresponsive to its consignors and that it failed to accept responsibility f...

Re: Grateful Dead Anderson Theatre 70

Unfortunately, there is a new fake that is the size of the original poster being sold on EBay that emanates from the source of the original posters. (And is being sold by the seller of the originals, despite being told they are fake) We guess that the windfall profit from finding the hoard was not e...

Re: AOR 3.147 Black Magic & Rock & Roll Detroit 69 Linz

Not sure where the information on here came from that says this show did not happen - it's wrong. Frost and the Amboy Dukes were not allowed to play and there was a riot at this show - it's well documented..... There was another show planned at Olympia Stadium for 11/11/69 that was cancelled because...

Re: BG-105 Hendrix Experience SF 68 Griffin

2 things bother me, the 21 inch size, and the fact that it DOES NOT look 40+ years old. It is in ABSOLUTE MINT condition. when in doubt, spend the $25 to have Eric King authenticate it. well worth it ERIC KING: therose7@earthlink.net (info from where I purchased) EK has looked at this print. He tol...

Re: Grateful Dead European Tour 81 Mouse

BTW, as of 5/2/11, the image appears to be one of the 22" x 28" fakes - they are much lighter in color than the others. Of course, I would have to see a better picture or the actual poster to be sure.

Re: Grateful Dead European Tour 81 Mouse

There are at least three printings of this poster. One original --- All the rest are fakes and not authorized reprints of any kind. The original measures 22" x 27". The lettering at the bottom is a brownish black and the words "Tea Lautrec Litho" and 1981 Mouse/G.D.P and crisp and sharp. The "tombst...

Re:

I set the OP-1 proof as OP-1 for now and as the default image. OP-2 is correct. Thanks. :) These still seem to be screwed up - The double H press version is the OP-1, the Berkeley Bonaparte is RP-2 and the one listed as a OP-1 proof is simply an OP-1 on different colored stock, call it OP-2 if you ...

This is NOT AOR 4.162 - the blue version from Arizona is. These should be switched so they are correct.

Re: AOR 4.38 Blue Rose 78 Mouse

Curious about the poster listed here as RP-3. Is this actually the 2003 reprint that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the closing of Winterland? (These were done in a horizontal format and omit the NRPS and Blues Brothers from the line-up) There was an edition of 500 signed and numbered. These me...
