Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
I received mine yesterday, I love the print but I was wondering about the print run - mine is number 6 out of 100. Though rolled up in a durable tube there was no craft paper and unfortunately a fair bit of damage. I can only guess the print has moved in tube a lot during transit as both the left a...

Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
That looks right, the only thing that is off is the edition. My only guess is that whoever numbered them had a brain fart and wrote 100 instead of 150 (which I've caught myself doing), and I didn't sign any of the edition that went to TI, as it went straight to the venue from DL. Since it came dama...

Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
it's a screenprint, just a different technique. Thanks for the reply. Can I ask what you mean? I'm genuinely curious. Pretty sure it's this method: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMYK_color_model Ah, I get what you're saying. I DO think it's a CMYK print, but it seems to me more like a digital CMYK p...

Pretty sure it's this method: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMYK_color_model seems like just about every DKGN print. Do you mean DKNG? I love their stuff... beautiful halftoning. But...

I halfheartedly tried a couple of times about twenty minutes after it went up, and randomly caught one on the second cart-bounce. Nice!

Re: Shaun of the Dead cricket bat
Well, I'm kinda bummed to say that I just popped in the blu-ray to check, and his name in the film is Philip with one "l," according to the actual end-film credits. I still love the bat, but man, that's going to annoy me every time I look at it. I'm honestly pretty surprised that this wasn't checked...

Re: Shaun of the Dead cricket bat
A couple things. Yes, the bag was for Kickstarter backers only as a thank you for having faith in the project. On the darker bats, I lightly sanded the really dark ones to lighten them up without removing all of the original staining. I thought they were too unique to remove the stain completely. I...

Re: Damaged or not damaged
Damn puppetmaster... I remember you mentioned in PMs that your framer had totally screwed you, but yeah, that sucks. I don't think I'll ever let anyone else do anything more than cut mats for me, at least until I know I can trust them.
