Re: Best/Worst Movies of 2019

don't know where else to post this but if you use Shudder, I'd recommend Tigers Are Not Afraid which is on there now, and to keep on the lookout for Dogs Dont Wear Pants, which just got bought by Shudder for North America. Especially if you're into weirder films like me Good to know Tigers Are Not ...

Re: Bring back gigposters

This is my favorite gigposter so far this year: https://assets.bigcartel.com/product_images/247907489/20191102_165311.jpg?auto=format&fit=max&h=1000&w=1000 Not completely crazy that the artist edition (pictured above) is on larger paper, hence the large borders, but the up close pics of these look i...

Re: Best/Worst Movies of 2019

The Lighthouse was great; thought it was much better than The Witch (which I did in fact like). Cinematography and sound were absolutely top notch, and both leads were stellar.

Re: Best/Worst Movies of 2019

The Lighthouse early this coming Sunday!

Not 2019, but still theater watching - local arthouse is getting the 4k restoration of Satantango this month, going to spend a large chunk of the 17th watching that; very excited for it!

I have no issue with the page checker + Shopify block on the Obey site. Didn’t even know a drop was happening today; +1

Re: Best/Worst Movies of 2019

Ugh, Parasite was so drymounting great. Now I need to find time in the next week or so to go catch The Lighthouse. Love this time of year, the influx of great flicks is a blast.

Caught a trailer for Portrait of a Lady on Fire, which has been on my list since May, even more excited for it now.

If Banksy doesn’t continue producing them until the heat death of the universe it’s false advertising and we should sue.

Hope Gira and crew hit the road again. SWANS were always one of the best live shows around.

Re: Loss of a Pet

15 years in an awesome run for any dog. So sorry for your loss. Yeah, it is an awesome run. It’s weird not having him around today; I miss him like hell - he’s just been here for so long, that I’ve yet to really fit his absence into my normality. But (oddly) I don’t necessarily mean that in a sad w...

Re: Loss of a Pet

We had to say goodbye to our sweet old man puppy dog, Copper, today; he was 15 years old, which is pretty damn good for a larg-ish pup. He was a sweet and steady mainstay in our home over the past 12 years; he was patient and loving with our children even when they were tiny and grabby; he had the s...

Re: Going to concerts in 2019? Yes, 2019!

I am gonna go see King Crimson. I can't drymounting wait. Seen them before? I saw them twice in a week a couple years ago; whether you've seen them or not you're in for a treat, the current touring incarnation is an absolute beast. I have not. Really looking forward to it. Heard they are breaking o...

Re: What are you listening to RIGHT NOW??

Listened to Chrome (a band I found on a site like audiogalaxy @20 years ago, can't find anything about them currently) There was a band named Chrome I liked back in the 90’s that I got into thanks to one of thier albums being on Touch and Go: https://www.discogs.com/Chrome-Half-Machine-Lip-Moves/ma...
