Perhaps it's readily known -- but I'd contact Thomas Danthony directly to see if he has APs. That's how I ended up getting the original a while back. But that was sort of before it became this "thing" -- so he may do APs differently now.
good suggestion, appreciate it!

Re: Black Dragon Press

I added that to my basket before the image eve updated with all my details filled already and it still sold out before I checked out! Same. Haven't gone for a new piece to put up in a long time and this one had the wife's approval for taking the over the mantle spot in the living room. More bummed ...

Great work.
Pretty sure there is an art print version of it. I recall seeing it at the SDCC booth.

Interested to hear more about this as well. Kevin's always been super nice when I go hang at his booth at Comic-Con. Seems out of character.

Mike Mitchell's Twitter - where I go for my fat animals and political commentary.

Said that to him word for word at Comic Con last year. And meant it :)

Re: Richey Beckett's Thread

Grabbed a regular. Was super bummed to have missed this, then super bummed again to miss the AP drop (I was out of town this weekend), but then I check this thread before turning in tonight and lo and behold, you guys confirm that you are indeed the best.

Many thanks fellas.

Secret of Kells is good. Definitely worth a watch. The animation is a pretty unique style and probably worth watching for that alone.

Or might've been interesting with that radiant iridescent paper like that recent set of Slater prints. But I'm sure that stuff ain't cheap.

Re: Kilian Eng thread

Very nice. Really interesting film (the whole series really) with great music my Philip Glass. I think this is some of the best recent work that Kilian Eng has done - you're right that he captures the spirit of the film really well. I also like that he worked a bit outside of the two more common col...

nice to get a reminder of the type of connection that art is really for. sometimes it's easy to get so caught up in the whole obsessive compulsion of collecting that we forget the underlying reasons.

Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things

I was also one of the non-refunded folks who had a bonus thrown in. Mike said he'd just be throwing bonuses into a bunch of the orders going out during the sale. My bonus was a Harry Potter super. I'd already grabbed an extra fat cardinal pin in the order as a gift for the wife and she loves HP, so ...

Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things

Congrats buddy!

Still haven't gotten my holiday order in but not a rush. Went a little nuts on Thanksgiving weekend and now having shipments seep in bit by bit that I'd forgotten about, which is awesome. Also saw Mike's tweet about the family emergency. Hoping everything turns out okay.
