You want to be paid for telling him about the movie?

Yes. That's exactly what happened here.
What kind of agreement did you have?

Re: Attack Peter Block

Can't go wrong with a nice lino cut block print. I love the paper he uses too, really complements his style.

Re: Nakatomi / Tim Doyle

Sidaldo, have you considered going into business being a business advisor? Or maybe hiring a lawyer? Or is this an example of "negging" that's gone off the rails?

Re: Nakatomi / Tim Doyle

Spoiler alert: none of your input matters. Tim Doyle is in business. If you are ok with screaming your woes to the sky (I know I am sometimes just fine with that) then your energy is being well spent. What's the point otherwise?

Re: Nakatomi / Tim Doyle

The emotions that led to buying a Tim Doyle Simpsons print on the secondary market are closely related to the ones on display in that novel up there. I'm not cutting on anyone for having them but one must recognize the connection.

Re: Nakatomi / Tim Doyle

The struggle is real. Imagine thinking your Tim Doyle Simpsons prints that you bought on the secondary market would hold value. If you were happy to pay what they cost to look at them then you made a great choice. If you're investing... Not sure what to tell you. Tim printed new editions of sold out...

That's a neat idea. But -- eBay actually lets you counter with a price lower than the offered price? That sounds like bad design.
If there's a happy glitch that makes someone pay immediately to accept an offer in this fashion sounds great to me. Hidden feature?

More and more on make offers even when I want to accept their offer, I counter it with one a penny lower. They offer $29, I counter at $28.99. That way they have to accept and pay right away. Saves me from accepting theirs then waiting and hoping they pay.
Today I learned. Thanks for sharing

Re: The Ebay Advice Column

Seriously...who does a BIN and doesn't pay immediately? I've forgotten I made an offer while drinking that was later accepted but it still only took me a couple days to shake off the hangover, realize what I did, and pay up. I think you mean "who does a BIN and doesn't require payment immediately"

Re: Nakatomi / Tim Doyle

out of curiosity, why not just call your prints open edition instead of doing limited edition round 2 or round 3? (Renumbering the prints back to 1 is not really a new edition) i'm sure this is a big reason people are not happy due to this advertisement of LE. It's called "marketing". Business peop...

When the after hours thread was a thing, he had some great posts. Probably drove the mods crazy but that’s what made him...him. Some of the wildest moments in EB forum history. Damn, what a bummer. This is absolutely true. Sorry to hear the news. I'm sure there are plenty of late nights and ladies ...

Re: The Ebay Advice Column

If a buyer buys an item that was up for BIN listing, how long do you give them before asking them to pay up if they didn't do so immediately? Set up unpaid item assistant to automatically open and progress through the steps at the fastest rate possible. I think it's 2 days for the first notice to g...
