Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

Watched a movie called He Never Died with henry rollins tonight that I found pretty amusing. Probably not for everyone but considering I'd never heard of it I enjoyed it.

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Out of all of Aaron's gigposters over the years I really can't see this one getting the art print treatment. If you want it that badly you can just mat over the bottom 3 inches of the print.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

I didn't think the last 2 episodes were quite as good but still an enjoyable watch overall.

Re: the official TV discussion thread

Is Carnival Row on Prime worth watching? I'm guessing not since I haven't heard much about it but got prime for a month because the wife likes Goliath and we already watched good omens and the boys.

Re: TOOL announces summer tour

Excited to see what Allen Williams comes up with for these. As far as I know these will be his first gig posters but some of his multi limbed characters definitely fit well with tool's imagery.

Re: The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Finally finished this today. What did everyone think? I thought it turned out FAR better than I had ever hoped. Certainly there were nitpicky things here and there but overall I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Re: ISO PB for HYPERSTOIC Returns

Insert obligatory slowest moving line in history joke. Good luck though, I think i've decided not to go but I just noticed wayshak is one of the showcase artists and I'm curious what this "disappearance" of brandon holt is referring to so it's tempting. If I change my mind and end up going i'll cert...

Re: The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

I was very hesitant when I heard about the new series but I must admit the trailer looks really good so I've gotten my hopes up a bit. Can't wait to watch it and see if they've managed to do the movie justice.

Re: the official TV discussion thread

I'm still behind but finally watched season 2 of legion this week and damn if this isn't one of the best shows on TV. Really hoping season 3 can keep the quality up.

I'll get around to the boys eventually but much like preacher I'm expecting a watered down experience after reading the comic.

Re: Best/Worst Movies of 2019

I would disagree and for me personally put Once upon a time at the very bottom of the Tarantino list (caveat, I have still not seen death proof). Excellent acting and like you said, a love letter to the hollywood of yesteryear but that didn't make for a compelling watch in my mind. Not a truly awful...

Going to see Low in September which I'm looking forward to. Somehow never seen them before even though I've listened to them for ages.

Re: String Lakes Rag - Aaron Horkey Retrospective Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 Windom MN

I'm in. Is this something we think is going to have lines? I think we're driving in on Sun. Hard to say. There weren't really lines for midwestern heart. I don't expect there will be much if anything for sale other than a show print and would imagine there will be enough of those to at least cover ...
