Re: Australian FS/FT thread

Can I ask which framers the rest of the sydney siders use? Looking to frame a few bits and want to ask those who are a bit more experienced with it than me. Any recommendations? I live Redfern/Waterloo way. Piece I want to frame first is Craig Drake - Die Hard I work in North Sydney so happy to tra...

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

I also finally received my Ghost in the shell variant. Took forever, but eventually Alex made every thing right. Now that he has handed over the shipping responsibilities to a third party im sure everything is good now :pint: Prevone, did you have the anime sub from Alex? Not 100% sure why he told ...

Re: Ghost in the Shell 14 Iaccarino

Turns out he has no Variants left to send me, so I won't be receiving what I originally paid $90 for on January 26. Offered me a refund, or if I want to keep the reg he'll refund the difference. Last time I'll be buying from this guy, buyer beware . Paid him on January 26th 2014, it took nearly 5 m...

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

I received a Reg instead, but after pestering him on email about sending it back he eventually just refunded me the whole cost of the variant and told me to keep the reg. Which was nice of him, but I'm guessing he just wants this fiasco over.

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

Please read the previous page The previous page makes clear any future artwork sold will be handled by Bottleneck Gallery, which is great. It doesn't tackle previous issues. If the guy couldn't give two $hit$ about his customers, it doesn't matter where you're buying from. I'm not the only person w...

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

After this exhibition I hope Alex takes some time to take stock from previous errors and issues and take action on them. I can't take anyone seriously who doesn't have the professional courtesy that's required when receiving money for product, regardless of what's being sold. He wasn't in hospital, ...

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

Sounds great. The trouble is, the damage is done, he had enough time to contact his customers but didn't (for multiple months) hoping the problem would just go away. He also had the opportunity to ensure that his customers would receive exactly what they ordered, but didn't (for multiple customers)....

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

Would I be correct in assuming the Variants that should have gone to myself and a few others were in fact sent to people who had purchased the reg?

That's all well and good for this exhibition, will he be closing down his online store?

To be honest, the entire affair has left a bad taste.

Re: That Kid Who Draws! The Art of Alexander Iaccarino

After many weeks of no response I finally got a contacted by the artist a few days ago... It said my print would be here in a couple days. I didn't really believe him, but to my surprise it showed up on my door step today. Opened it up and he sent me the wrong freaking print. Sigh, getting s...
