Timed editions start with inventory at zero.

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Very true, I guess compared to other galleries Mondo takes forever. Not to mention that the last print I got from them seemed to be packed by a kindergartener. I don't get why everyone sees them as the end all be all amongst galleries. Give me a James Jean or Bottleneck Gallery drop any time. I don...

Re: OCE II: Electric Boogaloo

I've only watched a few minutes of that video, but it has really pissed me off. I'm a collector of Hot Toys figures and Sideshow and Prime1 Statues, and I really don't like seeing this guy trying to create an aftermarket reselling site. His numbers regarding value are pure BS. He has the Avengers B...

Re: Bottleneck Gallery News/Rumors!

There really isn't a license for "Movie Posters". Most licenses are fine art licenses. So credits are just a thing some studios allow and some don't. Rules are a little easier when its more a marketing thing like our Kong print. We had credits on it but I'm positive if we wanted to do it again in t...

Re: Bottleneck Gallery News/Rumors!

Hey Joe,

I'm curious about your insight as to why credits are included on some posters but not others. I assume that sometimes it's contractual and sometimes the artist's preference. My question is, why would contracts prevent credits?

Thanks!

Re: Cyclops Print Works: Release and Discussion Thread

I'm not sure what Cyclops was thinking for this one. $200 for a print that has nothing to do with the movie at all? and a 200 print run to boot. Unless I'm missing something this is going to be on their website for a long time. I think the higher price is because of the number of screens and that t...

It was an exclusive for the premiere. I don't believe it was ever intended for public release.

Fraud laws; licensor sanctions; customer distrust; unnecessary risk.

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Also, I'm curious how someone would remove any reference to the name of the item from the HTML while still labeling the prints on the website for people to know what they are? It's not practical, but you could alter the template to remove the name of the product, vendor, SKU, etc., from the page ou...

Using "your" instead of "you're" while calling someone else an idiot completely undermines your point and credibility.

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

And while I believe everything Mondo posted in their FAQ, the only thing I think is a bit suspect is the part about the item not appearing on the home page due to different browser capabilities. The company I work for switched from Shopify about a year ago, but if I remember correctly, products are...
