Re: What's your guys thoughts on framing a concert T-shirt?
Go for it. People frame all sorts of things besides posters. I appreciate the reply, and I agree with you. I'm going to go ahead and give it a shot. I figured it was a concert I loved, the shirt is from the show and shows the name, date, etc. Since it's going to be on my wall, it might as well be s...

What's your guys thoughts on framing a concert T-shirt?
I have a small collection of posters on my wall from concerts I have attended. They are all of Pearl Jam to be honest, and at this point I have many of them stored flat until I can afford to frame more. There have been a few shows in the past that I have attended in which I was disappointed in the p...

Re: First attempt at America Frame DIY. Quick question
The reason most people suggest subtracting some is because AF only allows for 1/8" of mat overlap onto the print in their automated system. So what I'd suggest doing is figure out how much off each edge you'd be willing to cover, I'd suggest 1/4-1/2" from each edge so 1/2"-1" smaller in each direct...

First attempt at America Frame DIY. Quick question
I have a baseball print that I had someone draw for me recently, and I have decided to try and frame it myself by going the American Frame route. I have used them in the past before, however, this is my first attempt at framing a "poster" size print. My first time I used them I framed an 8x10 size p...

Re: Quick ? about a photo I took recently (framing/printing)
I love the Dodgers and I have become a big fan of Kemp's this year (always liked his talent, didn't like the attitude until this year). Congrats on the ball and the great shot. Even though the Dodgers are terrible this year, Dodger Stadium is drymounting awesome. thanks man for the good words! I to...

Quick ? about a photo I took recently (framing/printing)
Hello guys, I apologize in advance for posting such a random question that doesn't have much to do with art. I normally come here to check out the latest prints, but this time around I had a quick question about a photo I recently took. I am not that knowledgeable or skilled when it comes to knowing...

Re: Framed stuff part 5
Well, I know it's not framed art, but it is framed...so what the heck. I have a couple of posters at the framers, but for now this Dodgers jersey will have to do. I met these four players about a month ago at a show here in California. I was able to get all 4 of them to sign a jersey. I just got it ...

I always seem to ding a corner when putting print in sleeve
I don't know if I am too damn paranoid and over protective, but I always get nervous putting my print in a mylar sleeve/acid free plastic sleeve. I irony is, my over cautious behavior usually seems to cause me to slightly ding or nick an edge. I have NEVER actually damaged the actual print when to a...
