Re: The Official Horror Movie Thread

I watched Krampus for the first time last night whilst wrapping Christmas gifts. They had some real potential there, the first half was a great build and then just flat. I guess they blew the budget on the gingerbread men effects because Krampus was weak. Mike, hoping to catch JoeBob's Christmas li...

Re: Stout Discussion - fmr: tyler stout posters are going in

I'm lukewarm to it. I want to love it. Even by Stout standards though, it's pretty cluttered. I mean... 7 Clarence heads? Even the Avengers get 2 heads ea., max. Still kinda fun to look at.

Same. Preferred both of those to the Babadook/It Follows combo.

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

PS Babadook drymounting rules. Movie hits drymounting hard if you're a parent. Not to say that it is ineffective to anyone who isn't but I know seeing that movie pre parenthood and then again post parenthood were 2 totally different experiences. As a parent, Babadook just annoyed the hell out of me...

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

As much as we all talk sets or 'clever' pair ups, most times that's just another set of prints sitting in the flat file. It's a fun observation or idea than rarely gets executed as an actual frame up. Many just sell their half to someone else and move on to the next shiny new thing. Yea. My shape i...

So you're saying I should sell?

I don't think I want to let it go for any amount of money...but it is nice to know, should I ever get desperate, that people are insane.

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Especially if/when a regular white title gets made, you'll have 200 and some people with a orange title who realizing they will never be able to get a matching Shape orange title because not enough even exist. Get out now if you are holding while you have the chance. I'm counting on this... Would b...

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

And will it be the reg colorway? That seems like the kind of weird decision mondo would make...

I landed an AP last time and this time I guess I'll have to hope there's an AP of the reg Laurie to match the var shape (head explodes). Or try and turn a var Laurie into a reg ;)

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Secondly, I like the print but owning it without the Shape one would drive me insane. They may be calling it a successor but it seems like way more of a companion to me. 100% the only reason I want it so badly (well, less so if the other one ever ships to me lol). If it weren't for that it would ha...

4 is the best of the series. No question. 6 is fun and all, 2 and 3 are fine. But 4 is the best.

Re: Bottleneck Gallery News/Rumors!

I don't purchase many movie prints these days, but I love these reincarnations of the classics screen printed, and have nothing but good things to say about Bottleneck. Same. I hadn't made a purchase in quite some time when BttF popped up. I managed to avoid biting on that one. Jaws got me though. ...

Mandy is pretty great. Highly recommend checking it out in a theater if you can. Or anywhere big and loud.
