Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
Yeah. Measured the wall then did a bunch of photoshop mockups for arrangement/order. Then an insane amount of measuring, patience, and help from a buddy. Also, I didn't get them all framed at the same time from the same place so ever-so-slight variations in height were maddening. Then...I kinda forg...

Dude, that took me 2 weeks to decide what to do. Finally I was like "drymount it", let him be a giant - sometimes you gotta break a grid.

Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
Congratulations to you! And condolences to your wallet. I just got my first Mitchell portrait in this week thanks to a Facebook sale, his portrait of Obi-Wan Kenobi. I thought it was at a pretty hard to beat price (pretty much at cost), so I'm very grateful to have stumbled on it when I did. It'll b...

Re: Official Mr. Brainwash Conspiracy Thread
The original website for the movie Space Jam honestly looks better than MBW's website.

Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things
Spent some time with Sam Elliot tonight. He was a lovely, LOVELY man. I handed him my Mitchell and he said, "Wow this is actually really nice. Who painted it?!"
Also, he called me Darlin' BRB I gotta go pick my heart up off the floor.

still not good. Does it hurt people to sign dark areas in light ink and light areas in dark ink. Well who farted on your cornflakes? He did the best he could to be accommodating (as was mentioned by another post earlier) and was super kind. I wasn't gonna reprimand a legend or be pout because he di...

Re: Stout Discussion - fmr: tyler stout posters are going in
I spent way too much time and money getting this removed from the frame, the anxiety of rolling it and placing it into a tube, hauling it from BK into Manhattan, and the cost of a ticket, but now it's signed.

Re: Give Us an Art Tour of Your Place
Yeah. Looks better now that the print isn't obscured. If you like the 3 suitcases tho, maybe move the invader up vertically on the wall? Then you can have 3, cause there is something nice about a stack of 3 visually. Dilemmas dilemmas dilemmas. Keep on stuffing till you find her. That's my philosoph...
