Re: All Things BBQ
it's funny looking back at this thread I could chew your ear off talking about brisket and how to run an offset most of the things you read about dont matter at all- it's the one percenters that make a difference here are a few more recent pics. My brisket trim, how I run the fire in the offset, som...

Re: All Things BBQ
I haven't but it's something we want to introduce, for chicken. That white sauce above is an aioli. I personally can't stand the stuff but we get it requested heaps for chips/fries. Our bbq sauce varies a little depending on how much stock we have of each ingredient, but it's roughly this: -chop and...

It's on the wall! Went away from my 4 initial options for a high float on black mat with a simple profile black frame. It's huge (9ft ceiling).

Re: All Things BBQ
Made up this platter on the weekend.
We've got pastrami, brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, beef ribs, turkey breasts, and 3 kinds of sausage. Was a fun cook.

Re: Jeremy Geddes thread
Some people have suggested floating it in front of a white mat/board, and using a simple black frame. I don't mind the idea of that. Or just using a spacer/no mat at all. This avoids trying to match the black mat with the print, and reduces the cost too. That no4 frame job was quoted at $2k. Thoughts?

Re: Jeremy Geddes thread
Yep, heaps of limitations particularly on the mat. The largest matte black frame they had was maybe 2" or 1.5" wide, which looks pathetic on a print this size.

Re: Jeremy Geddes thread
Looking for opinions on framing my XL Adrift. I went in set on black mat with a black frame, but all black frames to suit this size print were glossy, and I'm not sure it works. So played around with a few frame options and got it down to these 4. Would appreciate some input. Thanks https://i.imgur....
