Re: How long would you wait?...after paying

For what it's worth, I got my THIRD MAN print today from Mad Duck - and it's actually really nice. I either didn't know or had forgotten that they were printing it on black paper with metallic inks - so it really gives it a nice vintage pop. The best part is since I'm reasonably certain Rory lurks -- he's probably reading all this and wondering when the drymount we'll get back to talking about him.

Yeah, she was quizzing me on the remaining two this morning. Might have to start building a shell company or two.

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

Not quite sure if that's more mockery, Kramerica, or sincerity. I'll own it either way. And let me just say now that I no longer have a dog in this fight? It's a drymounting gorgeous print. Two things struck me when I untubed it. 1) I didn't care for the variant colors at all in the .jpeg - and it's...

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

He paid face at the original screening, so to him it was a $50 memory. But he loves Kurtz. To him it was about the art. I only talked to him for a bit - but he seemed clear-headed about what he likes and responds to - so there were no shenanigans about the trade. And I intend to hang the TD - so it'...

Or in this case the original sub-$100 cost of the variant into a Taxi Driver.

I was going to give Chris that very feedback - and then 30 secs of googling lead me to the realization that LITTLE NELL HAS A drymounted UP HONKER.

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

Love the note in the FS for the variant. Nope in a few weeks it will still be stupid. Some of you dudes are drymounting hilarious That's me. I'll fess up to it. We'll see. Tulip mania was a thing once too - and people were standing there going "Wait, it's just a FLOWER, right?" It's all just pretty...
