Re: Can we get a Video Game subforum?

I got the Best Buy email at 8:30 and carted the system but couldn't check out. I tried for well over an hour and was denied. It was a mess.

Re: World of Whiskey

And yes, the rare bottles are laughably over priced in that app. I found my source for rare stuff by searching liquor stores on Yelp and scrolling through the pics to see if they had anything special. Then I just visited the promising ones to compare prices. The app pulls up both over priced and SR...

Re: World of Whiskey

I'm a big fan. This most recent batch is very good. It's strong, but I like that. It makes the bottle last a lot longer because the pour is smaller. I like a couple of small ice cubes in it. It's definitely worth searching out. I use an ap on my phone called wine-searcher, but it only works for tho...

Re: World of Whiskey

Oh, way more. I think reserve is fine, but for the minimal $35 I pay for it there’s better bottles. The Antique is probably in my top 5. I would have made the exact same call on the 12 though man. That’s part of the reason I passed on the Full Proof. My guy had it priced at $118 and he sells the 12...

Re: The Ebay Advice Column

^ lol. That’s kind of a logical way to proceed. So the dude bought the game, said it would only be graded as low as 8.0 and it isn’t worth $400 but he would settle for $300, then sent you back a turd and now selling your 8.0 fudge for $1,250? I guess the guy didn’t want to potentially triple his mo...

I guess I am bored.

Guy's obviously a winner. He has a Linkedin page that lists his ebay handle as his current experience.
Now THAT is funny!

Re: The Ebay Advice Column

I recently had an awesome experience as a seller on Ebay. I sold my old Play Station Resident Evil game from 1996. It was in near mint condition. Some dude bought it for $400 and then asked for a $100 partial refund for a wrinkle on the back cover. I told him to send back the game for a full refund....

Re: World of Whiskey

I walked into a small shop over the weekend and found my first bottle of Blanton's. WOW. It's good. Bulleit has been my go to for a couple of years now. If you haven't tried Noah's Mill, I highly recommend it. This small cabinet used to be my whiskey stash. It's since spilled out and has probably m...

Re: Are You a Prepper Too?

As a boonies duke ya have to be somewhere on the prepper spectrum. Lol. Not really. Not “intentionally” for preparedness, anyway. Also, I am not a truly boonies duke, just happened to live out here at the moment. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" There you go, a bit of a boonies duke pe...
