Re: Stout Discussion - fmr: tyler stout posters are going in

Having Carpenter sign my Halloween scared the hell out of me, so I micro-managed the signing as much as possible: http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag29/typeslowly2882/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsqpbnwfto.jpeg This was smart. I sent my Fairey "They Live" poster in for him to sign, and he did a mass...

Re: Framed Shepard Fairey Thread

Experimenting with some ornate frames for my office, and I'm quite pleased with the result. Sorry for the terrible lighting! http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag214/christoffergaddini/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsyfsr5xzv.jpeg http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag214/christoffergaddini/Mobile%20Uplo...

Re: Large Scale Black & White screen prints?

Shepard Fairey Large Format Mandalas are awesome and massive, I think a set is available on UAA. MBW "Celebration" or "Fame Moss" are also really nice large pieces. You may be able to get one or two of the Kaws "Mans Best Friend" b/w pieces at cost as that set didn't seem to be as popular as the oth...

Thanks! I shot John an e-mail. My inquiry is mainly regarding the affects of removal. I just don't want to chance it and end up with a print thats loose but looks like hell.

Removing A Drymounted Print

Hey guys. So the tragedy of discovering a newly bought print is dry mounted finally happened to me. I'm aware that a dry mounted print can be removed by a skilled conservationist, and was wondering if anyone on here has ever undergone this process. If so, who did you use? Also, what was the impact o...

Re: Official Mr. Brainwash Conspiracy Thread

Does anyone know the normal turnaround for an MBW purchase? Does he send out shipping notifications?

Re: Anything OBEY related

This might be the worst year I've seen in the 4 years I've been collecting. Holy fudge :hanging: Rambo, I really gotta agree and to be honest its made me seriously question whether I want to continue collecting high value artwork from him. Not only has he released scores of lackluster images, he's ...

I agree. Plus, the art/music seems to be spot on. I could easily see D*face's art described a "pop punk."

Re: D*Face Thread

If anyone going to the show would be kind enough to PB a printed catalog or print it would be very much appreciated. I'm happy to return the favor in LA or swap you something nice form my collection. Thanks!

Re: D*Face Thread

Yah but... poop. Okay, over/under vs Bend Embrace? I'm not too hip to the test print market. If these are studies the price range is usually 4-5k. His prices took a steep jump after the LA show, where the large HPMS were 12k, so they are essentially like half of that because of the size. Could be w...

Re: D*Face Thread

I don't think those are "prints" in the traditional sense of the word. They are probably "studies" which he produces before painting a large canvas. I've actually owned one in the past and there incredibly nice, like a small OG.

Seems a little high, but what the hell do I know. Also judging by the HPM on Ebay it would seem that he creates an AP edition of these HPMs which doubles the total edition. I still think he's producing to much to quickly and people aren't as eager to swoop up his multiples.
