Re: What book(s) are you reading???

Long time since I checked in... Almost halfway through the Wheel of Time series. So far I am really liking it... started out really good and hitting a bit of a lull right now, but with all those books I somewhat expected it.

Looking forward to finishing everything in time for the show.

Re: All-Encompassing Pearl Jam Thread

Heading down to Baltimore and that’s it for this run. In preparation I am relistening to all my concerts over the years in order.

Those Spectrum shows still give me the chills. Feels like yesterday.

Re: Phish 2019

I don't usually go crazy for merch at shows, but I might buy every event-specific piece of merch they have. Especially considering the ticket was $0 so I am already way ahead.

Re: Phish 2019

That’s awesome. Same here... I think the only poster I bought in the last year was the MMJ Red Rocks one. This site is still under construction, too I guess so I check in way less than before but still come around. Yup, I’ll be there. Where are you coming in from? Should be an interesting day.... he...

Re: Phish 2019

Yeah I mean seeing them in such a small venue is a win-win. Tickets cost $0 and I could care less what the setlist looks like because I never thought I would ever see something like this in person. Something to wet my whistle until the NYE show on the 28th. At least now I don't have to guilt myself ...

Re: Phish 2019

Just got word this weekend that my boy hit for a pair of Met tickets.... man I am going to be on a complete high until 12/3. Might just take the whole day off to pregame.

Anyone else hit? So far everyone else I know has been blanked.

Re: Currency Wars, USD, YEN, Bitcoin and what it means to you.

Buys have been consistent through the entirety of 2019... anyone dabble with Gods Unchained? I tossed a handful of ETH into the genesis packs for investment purposes and snagged a few really valuable ones so I at least already made all my ETH back plus some if I were to sell today.

Re: Currency Wars, USD, YEN, Bitcoin and what it means to you.

What is a CDP? "Collateralized Debt Position" You lock your ETH into a smart contract and then can draw out a certain percentage in DAO. Then you can just sell the DAO and get cash or convert it into more ETH if you expect it to rise. Just pay a stability fee of 21% per year and make sure you stay ...

Re: Currency Wars, USD, YEN, Bitcoin and what it means to you.

Finally opened a CDP to try it out. Keeping my ratio high but will be pretty cool to grab extra ETH for free (minus fees). I was surprised at how simple it was and the UI is pretty slick.
