I saw someone wearing of those going into the market to buy beer at 6 30 am when I was doing laundry the other day . I got the sense that he was trying to tell everyone HE WAS AMERICAN and he didn't like this sheltering in place . I thought it a weak protest and dumb

My dad was a landscaper for 60 plus years . Circa 1970 he worked for the woman pictured here . She said it was done by a illustrator for the SF Chronicle .
