Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Looks like George Thompson's work. Also an artist from MN, friend of Aaron's who also worked for RVCA, did work for Burlesque, etc.

Discarded exoskeletons and carapaces have long been a motif in Aaron's work. No mystery there.

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Ha! Good seeing you Sunday, Mike! (we ran into him at Gilead Fest in Oshkosh, WI. stopped through to see THOU close out the fest.) And you as well. Sorry there was no time to chat. It had been a long weekend and I had to head back to get the kids from Grandma's house. I was just shocked to see the ...

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

I guess it has been over a year since I posted. Hello everyone. How's the family? I hope you're all well.

Re: Moon Editions

Mark McCoy wizard rappin. I still have the video of Charles Bronson's last show @ Fireside, along with a bunch of other classic stuff like the infamous His hero is Gone San Francisco show where the kid jumps up and busts the water pipe flooding the venue. I get to see Ebro play drums for Los Crudos...

For all you underread dorks that somehow think that all references begin and end with Aaron, you may want to familiarize yourself the idea of the silver cord.

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Yea, it's signed and numbered on the back by both of them. Aaron did the eagle and feathers, Wes did everything else. I sold one copy with some edge damage and creases for $600(?) a few years ago, guess I did not record that sale either. My other copy just has pinholes and creases.

Re: Graveyard Minneapolis 13 Horkey Release Discussion 02/06

I got in for both and was refunded for the show print...and I was actually at the show. I got a chuckle out of that. Such is the game, it's never gonna work for everyone. Keep course correcting for something over which you have no control. See how that works out.
