Retna | Invader - Help me save some sloths

So, I have rarely if ever sold anything. However, there is something more important than art for me at the moment and that is saving two sloths that are being sold as pets. I have a wildlife refuge ready to take them in, but I have to purchase them. My income streams are on hold, so I need to move s...

Re: How do certain people get everydrop?

I've always imagined its like high frequency traders. People building massive server farms closer to the servers doing the drops, and fighting out for milliseconds, to ensure they get access to their next must have print... that never gets framed and now has to be sold because girlfriend said so. So...

Re: Top 5 (Ish) Art Acquisitions of 2019

Strangely enough, I only bought 5 pieces this year. I've slowed down a ton. This is a piece of dutch art nouveau I picked up on a trip to Amsterdam. https://i.postimg.cc/SjDDC13M/IMG-0568.jpg I buy a piece from David B Smith every year during Art Basel Miami, this is a piece by Adam Milner, called N...

Re: SHOW US YOUR ORIGINAL PAINTINGS, etc...."NICE" ART

Thanks for the kind words. This smaller piece was quite affordable and less than the hand finished large format prints. He’s going to be all over the US during election season, might be another chance to grab something. Also grabbed a sculpture from Kwest, it jumped to the top of my favorite pieces ...

I’ve been laying low, in art rehab, but it’s Basel and I have some traditions. Cutting it short, so just these 2 https://i.postimg.cc/LhJGHBv4/7-B56-FD29-33-A8-4241-8-E38-4-C859-AFF9-EFB.jpg Adam Milner Monuments series Cast Bronze with false eyelashes. https://i.postimg.cc/bZh59XPd/FA28-B579-3-ED6-...

Re: Juan Travieso X PangeaSeed Limited Edition Print Release

Juan's a long time friend, happy to seem him team up with PangeaSeed since his work and their mission are so well aligned. While Juan has a few pieces around the apartment, I'd concur that its rather sparse considering what you would expect. I've met a few artists that dont have art in their houses,...

Re: The Josh Keyes Thread

I would just like to comment that I am thrilled that we now have a new bar for identifying when arguments have gone to a place where they are invalid.

It used to be, he who invokes Hitler first loses.

It is now, he who invokes Trump first loses.

Trump is literally the new Hitler.

Re: The Josh Keyes Thread

Saw them at Scope but didnt realize that till seeing this thread.

I literally said to myself "wow, those look like bad Josh Keyes pieces"

So I guess thats an honest critique and I suppose it bodes well for him still being recognizable even though he's evolving.

Yeah, little shout out.

Easily the #1 question we get about the piece while it’s up at scope.

Re: Michael Reeder Drop | November 2nd

I wasn't going to disclose price, but since it's out, I thought $300 was a solid deal for a 15 layer screen print. On the cheap, burning screens this size is $200, so $3000 in hard cost, before we look at paper, pigment and labor. If anything I am low on the cost to burn the screens AND you cant POD...

Michael Reeder Drop | November 2nd

To be fair, I almost never post print drop info, 'cause i dont want to create competition. However Michael Reeder and Matt Eaton are like 2 of my favorite people, and nothing would make me happier than this masterful screen print selling out, so, here's the skinny. www.uncommoneditions.com 'Rotting ...
