Re: LEGO - The thread.

I agree with you on the bottom of the bottle. But it looks great up on the mantle.

Also, I ordered the new deluxe Hulkbuster over the weekend. I'm excited to see that one finished.

Re: LEGO - The thread.

I built the Ship in a Bottle last night with my son. It looks really cool finished and up on the mantle. The bottom of the bottle is tricky with all the clear pieces!

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Cashed in the bulk of my VIP points for the Ship in a Bottle set. Super excited to build it.

Also, check your Walmart clearance sections, near the home & garden area. Yesterday I found Escape from Ra's al Ghul ($7), The Scuttler ($19) & The Batwing ($21).

Re: LEGO - The thread.

We took a trip to the Mall of America this past weekend as part of the kids' Christmas present. Of course, a lot of time was spent in the LEGO store. My son bought the Resistance Bomber and Defense of Crait Star Wars sets and a pick a brick bucket. And we got free Darth Vader magnets that they just ...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

It was a LEGO bonanza at our house over Christmas! My son got almost nothing but Lego sets from everyone, I bought myself the Guggenheim, I hit the Target clearance and filled up on Brickheadz & a couple SW sets and I scored big on the facebook marketplace getting the FO Assault Walker and FO Star ...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Several older sets on clearance at Target. I got my son the TIE Striker and Encounter on Jakku for about $80 total, retail would be $130.

Re: LEGO - The thread.

I'm all over that TRON set!!!

If anyone is into the Brick Headz I had to ask at Target with a DPCI but I got a couple of the Rey/Kylo exclusives yesterday. They were still hiding in the back room.

Re: The Official Horror Movie Thread

What is everyone going to be watching for Christmas themed horror? I assume we all know the usual suspects. SNDN, Black Christmas etc. I have Better Watch Out pre-ordered from Amazon for 12/5. And will definitely be watching Rare Exports again this year. And I really want to track down a copy of Elv...

Re: The Official Horror Movie Thread

My lady and I are also attempting the 31/31. I was sticking to the list from HorrorHound but have started to go off list recently. I'm trying to see new stuff, but having a hard time finding things digitally that fit that bill. So, lots of first timers for her and revisiting classics. Parentheses in...

Reminds me a lot of John Ottman's unused H20 score.

Re: The Official Horror Movie Thread

I think parts of the Reznor version are good and some parts not so much. Just leave that to Carpenter.

Re: The Official Horror Movie Thread

Cult of Chucky was weird, wacky fun. You're Next is still amazing and deserves a good print. I enjoy American Mary a little more every time I watch it. And with those three, my original list is completely off the rails. My lady is chronicling 31 in 31 this year, so she's reshaping the list as we go...
