Re: Bring back gigposters
Thanks guys. Buying a mint copy was too costly... but the Wolverined version set me back something like 50 bucks, and I prefer it. Think it contrasts well against the crisp mount. Framing cost more than the poster and tickets!

Hiding the damage wasn’t possible, so instead we celebrate it... https://i.postimg.cc/8jCGWDRd/F47-D0-D4-E-4014-47-EE-9269-D9-C667439-FF5.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/D8YTPD69/E6-C8-F59-B-8367-421-D-8729-5748-E3-B892-C3.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/3k4HSBbd/9-F78-A100-2-EB7-410-D-A87-F-CFAB3903-AC69.jpg

Re: Place for UK users to gather/trade/chat!
I ended up with 75 sleeves of various sizes for about £450 including postage. Now I have them, I wish I had bought them years ago http://www.preservationequipment.com/Catalogue/Archival-Storage/Polyester-pockets-sleeves-products/Archival-Polyester-Pockets-2 I've got tons of their sleeves - very wel...

Re: Place for UK users to gather/trade/chat!
Is that just the more valuable items, say £1k or does that cover the £100-£300 item as well? Rarely use Parcelforce but use Royal Mail a lot which are sister companies in a manner of speaking. Lady on the phone said they don't cover "art or collectibles" at all. The exclusions in their small print ...

Re: Gammaland: The Dave Hunter Thread
Such terribly sad news.
I only knew Dave through email, but over the years he has been a true gent.
Approachable and always helpful. An upbeat, hardworking guy, considering the stresses he went through.
Dave Hunter was a printing genius and one of the best gig poster artists in the business.

Re: Place for UK users to gather/trade/chat!
Read the small print on Parcelforce today and also phoned them to check... they don't insure art. Seems quite a few couriers are the same. When did this change?? I've ended up using DHL who still cover art up to 5k. Parcel force told me that to use their service, it would need to be insured through ...

Mantis Shrimp... http://i.imgur.com/reTS95J.gif Scuba dive masters used to tell us not to go to close to these as they were powerful enough to break your thumb...always thought it was apocryphal, but obviously not keen to test it. Savage little beasties, but also quite beautiful colouring on them.

Re: Widespread Panic Myrtle Beach 10 Sperry
After some limited research, it seems this 'mark' is most likely from the paper manufacture (it's handmade in Japan). There's no 'rollers' or, as I understand it, anything similar involved in the printing process, so it's not damage as such, but part of the paper. Mods, can we change the listing to ...
