Re: Pierrot Le Fou 15 Shimizu

Just stunning! Love Yuko Shimizu's work. Both posters are gorgeous, they're printed in tiny editions and I bet will be almost impervious to flipping. Other than the rather hefty tariff to get one's hands on them, what's not to like?

Can only hope this is the first of many film posters from Yuko!

That being said, I love his work.
It was that long?

Anyway, I really had no idea how long the print had been listed on EB when I posted my comments, just that it had been "revealed" on the internets hours before. Best of luck picking this one up, everybody!

Wow. Not a single comment? Well, let me add mine to start things off: Another gorgeous series of prints from Tim (at least the four that I've seen)! I love that in his work he often focuses on the stars and starlets from a bygone age: provocative and controversial subjects that most of the people on...

Re: Until September 14 Miss Bugs Release Discussion 10/29/14

Well, that was... miserable. Haven't wanted a print this badly in quite a while. In any case, am gutted. And it was all down to my bank declining the overseas charge... after confirming with me that they would accept it. Aggravation of the most elemental kind. If anyone has second thoughts or a sudd...

Hey Mods! This listing should be updated to add the AP edition of 5. I know it exists, because I'm lucky enough to own one of them! :notworthy:

I'm one of those "new names." Picked up the variant on slate. Gorgeous and fun print. Patriotism with a wink. Really looking forward to receiving this and getting it up on the wall. And that gloss varnish layer... whoa.

Happy Independence Day to all the EB Americans!

Re: Journey To The Center Of The Earth 14 Durieux

Arghh!!! Do I or don't I? Do I or don't I? I'm a huge Durieux fan, and I love this 9-color beauty. But money is very tight and this thing is over $100 (w/insurance), for what after all is a private, unlicensed "boutique" piece. :? My guess is that there are many people in the same boat. But congrat...

Re: Flat File Corner - Tips, Questions, Answers, Etc.

Acid free Unbuffered tissue? Is that the same as glassine? What really is the difference? Sorry for the delay in responding. There are two types of tissue: buffered and unbuffered. Buffered tissue is impregnated with 2-5% calcium carbonate. Not necessary for short-medium storage of prints and poste...

Re: Journey To The Center Of The Earth 14 Durieux

I was sent an email about shipping on this poster by Jack Durieux himself. This is what he said:

The shipping/handling fee for a tube below 1 kg (1 poster) + additional track&trace option is 21,20 Euros.

This comes to $29.29 for the shipping, so $91.29 TOTAL, folks. Not $110.
