Was able to pick this up from a generous EBer recently. First purchase in a long time and very pleased.

Re: What are your art goals for 2013?
My #1 goal remains to acquire a Melissa Haslam OG, an artist I've admired for a while but have not come across the right opportunity. I noticed this has been on my list for end of the year threads like this since 2010... better get on it. I would put original works by Linnea Strid, Leah Giberson (ha...

Same, Yvanne has been wonderful with communication from my experience (although that was for/during the last release). Wonder if they missed it somehow.mrkyuss wrote:Any dealings I've had with him and his Mrs have been really friendly. Surprised.

Re: Michael Peck – Another wizard with a brush from down und
That's pretty cool, I was "Third" for Fighter Pilot #1 but completely thought it meant his third limited edition print... i.e. 1. Liberty & Constraint 2. Recruit #1 3. Fighter Pilot, etc.
Neat that they tell you. If this large sticks around into December it's going to be really tempting to grab one.

Re: Michael Peck – Another wizard with a brush from down und
To me the portraits have a ghostly feel of war, and I'm not into war. So, I would lean more toward spitfire as it makes me feel like the kids came out to play on the downed fighter, which in a way is like conquering over war, or at least for a short time there is no battle and they get to play. To ...

These go on sale at 7 Eastern rather than 8? Ooops... looks like I got lucky and still got a Fighter Pilot.

Re: Michael Peck – Another wizard with a brush from down und
wow november is gonna crush my wallet. wish i could spare the dough for an xl. Ha, agreed. I skipped the Geddes drop so I could think about going for a large Fighter Pilot, but I'm leaning towards just grabbing the regular. Might swing back for a Spitfire if they stay available long enough. I'm a b...

Re: Michael Peck – Another wizard with a brush from down und
This is great news... Having a really hard time deciding which of these I want to go for... I love the closeness of 'Fighter Pilot #1' and (what I like to think is) the symbolism of his eyes being shielded -- almost like a veil -- by the too large helmet. On the other hand 'Spitfire' drives home the...

Re: Jeremy Geddes thread
I remember it being talked about that Jeremy and Soph would be at the gallery the second weekend of the show as well? Was that ever confirmed? I'm hoping I can meet them if I stop by on the 27th when i'm in NYC... I'd e-mail Soph but I'm sure she is swamped these days.

Love this image, would love a print, especially of the canvas variety.
Have long oscillated on "Candle for Orphans" but have never been able to pull the trigger.

Receive my replacement print with no issues. Happy to report it was an easy and pleasant process.
It looks like they ordered much better tubes (like the white ones Geddes uses) so if anyone is on the fence you can rest better assured in picking one up now.
