Re: Taxes...

I've never had to pay any sort of duty on a package from Canada.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

Anyone watch the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre? I liked it overall. The bus scene was pretty gruesome. I just came in to ask if this was worth watching. I saw that Colin Stetson did the music. Loved his score to Hereditary. I liked it way more than I expected to. Not perfect, but maybe my favorite TC...

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

Looks really cool, but I can't not see Daredevil, especially with the color scheme. Great art as always from FF though, as expected.

Re: 2021 Rotten Oscars

Wow, that Hopkins actor win is a shocker for sure. He is a plenty deserving actor, but that is pretty wild.

Also, congrats theperfectree!!

Re: 2021 Rotten Oscars

Oh yes, Mank for cinematography. I’m a fan of Messershmidt, for this and for his work on Mindhunter. Nomadland was beautifully shot too. Made for tough choice. But this is another category I went with my favourite. So glad Mank won this slot! I have been championing Messerschmidt ever since I saw i...

Re: 2021 Rotten Oscars

Awesome, can't wait! Thanks for hosting, RA! Very curious to see how things turn out at the end of this bizarre awards race. Forever I will be baffled how Delory Lindo got completely shut out this year. He totally deserved at least a nomination, but such is life. https://i.postimg.cc/KYbCzFPF/Delroy...

Devs is another heater from Garland, Offerman really shines.
I have a couple episodes left still. Been trying to space it out and not binge it all at once, but it is one of my favorite shows in recent memory. I am a sucker for anything Garland does and this is no exception.

Re: the official TV discussion thread

I'm still behind but finally watched season 2 of legion this week and damn if this isn't one of the best shows on TV. Really hoping season 3 can keep the quality up. I'll get around to the boys eventually but much like preacher I'm expecting a watered down experience after reading the comic. I feel...

Re: the official TV discussion thread

Attempting to mitigate the depression brought on from recently watching Chernobyl by starting The Terror. A couple episodes deep into it and I am really sucked into it already. It feels so cinematic for a network show and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Doesn't look like Horkey's work to me, but I can't confirm one way or the other 100%.

Re: THE VACVVM: Official Discussion Thread

Anyone else having a tough time getting in touch with Mitch through the Vacvvm email (or the P&T email)? I've been waiting on a response about a damaged print since September and it's been crickets.
EDIT: Resolved! I guess my emails were going to a spam folder :hanging:

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

I'm a couple episodes into Sabrina and I am loving it so far. I was already a fan of Riverdale so I knew I'd probably be into it, but I love that they dialed up the horror element. I'm kind of hoping they release each season around Halloween so they can keep leaning into it.
