Re: Mike Mitchell's Thread of Amazing Things

I personally enjoyed the hypocrisy of being a SJW in his spare time, while at the same time doodling Hitler into a Superman pose on a postcard and charging people 10 bucks for it - then subsequently getting indignant about it when people suggested that's not really cool. And when folks were like, he...

Damn wotta, you've been carrying the water in here. Awesome to see your progression! I've been over here quietly on the same path, and am now fully obsessed and intent on opening a bbq spot. Recently ordered a dual 500 gallon on a trailer from a Texas fabricator. Here's a dump of some recent cooks (...

Re: NFL 2019/2020

It was honestly surprising and impressive they made it through 3 weeks - I was starting to think conspiracies and that they just weren't bothering to report cases. This is gonna start getting real hairy over the next few weeks I imagine.

Not yet, but my family may murder me if this goes on much longer.

Re: Beware of ebay user Brian / Cynthia Krol

Hah, I had this one a couple years ago on some Spusta minis. Same story - waited a month, filed a chargeback as an unauthorized charge, feigned ignorance that he had no idea why that happened, then went radio silent.

Re: Breakfast at Tiffany's 18 Durieux

I think people get it just fine. It's just that you started out with a misguided neg that instantly comes across as condescending. Dominique's clientele (for this and his swath of vintage stuff) was never intended for standard EB poors. When in actuality it's not about being poor, but rather not bei...

Shared the same assumption. Was surprised at how light/pliable it was.

Re: EB Glory Days

luls, yes. Think it was for Lost in Translation and the thing was in Tokyo. Pretty sure dude even made a photoshopped pic about finding it, then in the meantime was begging on Craig's List or whatever trying to get someone to go get it for him. A true turd sandwich. This is all true except for the ...
