I would bet on gp being in on the jboy thing with the amount of tweets sent to him. Also he was fairly quick to come out and say it was not jboy, which is suspect. :neutral...

thought this was well said...stolen from the UAA boards -- Congrats to anyone that picked one up. I would say that even at 4K you got a deal, and anyone that says that this isnt worth it doesn't know the value of the twins. These guys will not be forgotten, they are not hyped like some of the other ...

Re: Os Gemeos @ ICA Boston 01/08-25/11/2012
the print sold out in 15 minutes. Actually, it was closer to 30 mins. I would say the sellout was in <2 minutes personally.. the time might be foolish as no one could actually get to the final checkout page in a timely manner. Revisionist history. People were adding it to their cart and completing ...

Re: Os Gemeos @ ICA Boston 01/08-25/11/2012
the print sold out in 15 minutes...i think they got the price right. If it was too high it would've sat there for a while.
And JR, while a really good artist and well respected, doesn't have the history of Os Gemeos nor the rarity of available works.

Re: Os Gemeos @ ICA Boston 01/08-25/11/2012
from 99 prints site: The prints sold on 99prints.net are created in the oldest Parisian printshop, founded in 1852. The lithography presses, Voirin and Marinoni, were used by Picasso, Matisse, Miró, Chagall or Giacometti. Contemporary artists such as Jean-Michel Alberola, Sophie Calle, JR, Paul Mc C...

I prefer the image of Nos Somos Penta. Its a much smaller print but this one doesn't do it for me. me too. i was determined to purchase gorkies today if he scored. agree with the statements above about the type of lithography used. was mentioned much earlier in this thread. congrats, esciff! thanks...

Re: Os Gemeos @ ICA Boston 01/08-25/11/2012
Just woke up. What did I miss? A flipper meeting about a super hyped litho that was sold from source at 5x times Banksy's prices for screened stuff? Something like that. This did seem like a high price to pay for a limited edition print. But please note there is a huge difference between a fine art...

But which side do you dress? :) Good score on the plan chest Hellraiser. Still looking... wish I still lived in London, it would appear that the streets are paved with them down there. I'm getting my daughter to run me up some bags over the summer hols. I think this has been asked before but does a...

oh yeah, they were 30 quid. and olly was number them there, me and my mate were the last two in the door (had to check out the show at outsiders and stik show first) and were numbers 35/36...so not sure what will happen with the others. Not that there were others that were numbered (yet). but he did...
