Re: Official Rhys Cooper Thread
My sincere apologizes to anyone who was waiting for a recent order from me. There was some delays as we were getting parts of the house renovated which wasn't helped by me also having some deadlines. Everything is now out though and on the way, your order should be updated as shipped. For some reaso...

Re: Team Fox Marty 15 Cooper Release Discussion 07/17/15
Very proud of Mike at Under the Floorboards for all the hard work he put into this. Got full approval and support from Universal and Amblin and the blessing and final tick of approval from Michael J Fox himself. To use the official title though you also need the approval of Robert Zemeckis and Bob G...

Re: Original Misfits 15 Cooper
I was able to score a purple one yesterday. I didn't really have a chance to look at the poster in detail until recently, and I just noticed Marilyn's neck is abnormally long. I feel like her chin should come down to where the cobwebs start. Still love the poster, just something I noticed. Interest...

haha that is actually what I like about it, dude will use anything as a weapon.Darkknight37 wrote:Those are pretty cool. The only thing that's bugging me is it looks like Casey Jones is holding a little kid putter and hockey stick.
The idea is the hockey stick and putter are 'sawn off' and re-taped.

Re: Official Rhys Cooper Thread
Not really sure what the game is here, whether it's just a bit of fun or something with more malice. I've never made any secret that I like to use beautiful ladies in my gigposters (some more famous than others) or use existing photos as reference material like 90% of other artists in my work. Guess...

Re: Official Rhys Cooper Thread
Tube availability is a big problem here and even if you can custom order them (which I have done in the past) once you get one strong enough the cardboard is so dense it adds almost another 500gms to the order and at least $10 to the shipping. As a personal rule I now don't put anymore than 2 prints...

Re: Australian FS/FT thread
Hey guys, I would love it if some of you could do the following as this really is the last chance to save the Palace. A venue and staff that has always supported my poster work and given great gigs to John at BTP. Without them there would have been a lot less gigposters from myself (if any at all, I...

It's not
There was just a complication with its release which I haven't had a chance to resolve yet.
Still def on the to do list.

Re: Official Rhys Cooper Thread
According to Facebook, "soon" but we all know what that means. Yeah it means my focus is on making art rather than selling it ;) In all seriousness though I haven't had a break in over 2 years from booked jobs, (a break being more than 2 days in a row, and even that is rare...) being a one man mach...

Update. I spent my New Years Eve wrapping subscription orders.
Subs and Wave One go out first then the Wave Two pre-orders.

Re: The Crow Devil's Night 12 Cooper
That was the idea, while the "character" is based off the original comic character I didn't want to rip off James' way of drawing his face.
So I referenced it back a bit to Brandon but kept the big 80's hair, iggy pop style body, scars and bullet casings in his hair like the graphic novel.

Re: Official Rhys Cooper Thread
Thanks fCon, the skateboards were done to raise money for the Cure Our Kids cancer charity silent auction at this weekend's Tattoo Expo at Jeff's shed here in Melbourne. If you can't get to the expo and want to put in a serious bid you can do so by emailing Katrina on katrina(at)cureourkids.com.au a...
