Re: 2020 Elections - A New Hope

I like gabbard at this point. Moderate, Vet and still on Reserve status. Can hold an A1 conversation on issues. Doesn't have the bernie-warren change the whole thing philosophy. What I feel is her Ace will be running against trump. He will be unable to control himself and say a whole lot of really s...

Gotta buy a new mattress

Any recommendations? The Sealy has taken a crap after about 10 years. Was a hybrid foam/coil mattress with a gel top which was supposed to help you sleep cool, well it sure as hell didn't. I can sleep on anything, a rock or whatever. She can't, so it needs to be in the middle ground range for plush-...

Re: America: The Trump Era

But can he?? goverment can do anything unless the checks in place stop it. thats the issue we're seeing. no one with the power to stop it, is. Read a interesting article on the hill about this yesterday. Author claimed an executive order from Trump to add the question into the census would lead to ...

Re: America: The Trump Era

you make it sound like he has masses, he doesn't. And even that will get less and less Honestly one would think so, but at this point he has a firm grip on 37% by most figures i hear. Thats a good grip, hell thats a great grip considering who he is and what he has done. At this point in the game th...

Would love to have some Nikka Barrel, doubt it will ever be around here.

Re: World of Whiskey

Had my absolute very, very first taste of Scotch this evening. Bought a bottle of Great King St Artist Blend quite awhile ago at the recommendation from a local into Scotch. Just never got around to cracking it open. Truth be told I really like it. Probably an excellent suggestion for a new to Scotc...

I just can't see myself laying down that kind of money for a bottle. I entered the lottery because I honestly thought it was a typo at first.

Re: America: The Trump Era

Any veteran holds respect for a fellow soldier who was a prisoner of war. More so than police or firemen when they lose someone in the line of duty. It’s automatic. You wouldn’t understand. Maybe if an old woman’s basement flooded and her loser son living down there drowned in a concoction of flood...

Re: World of Whiskey

Stopped in a local just to browse and was surprised they were kind of well stocked. Nothing too rare but a decent selection. Had the New Riff BIB, clerk said its pretty good and the single barrel is outstanding but they can't keep it in stock. Was going to grab a bottle of Proper Twelve since they h...
