Re: Bottleneck Gallery News/Rumors!

Bummer. No luck for me for the Los Angeles 2019. Congrats to the lucky winners though.

I am obsessed with Jaws and would love to be lucky enough to score a 4mm tomorrow. Do you guys think there will be enough? Never owned a Lenticular before, looks sexy. :)

Giri/Haji on Netflix is fantastic. Set between Tokyo and London with a stellar cast and intriguing story, every episode is better than the last. Hoping for a Season 2.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

'The King' was great. Really enjoyed how quiet the movie was until the impressive battle with Dauphin. It had a certain elegance to it as well as great accuracy about how grown men fight in full armor. Bash, bash, bash lol. Brutal.

Obvs aren't too familiar with avant. They seem to have a collector base with very deep pockets for just about anything they put out.
Yep, I am tempted by the new Jose Parla but that would mean no more art until next year.

First episode of His Dark Materials on HBO was pretty good. A certain uneasiness set in a lush setting.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

Dark Crystal was staggering in concept and execution and a wonderful political allegory. Mindhunter S2 was fantastic because there was less Holden and more Bill. Stranger Things was geez they are unlikeable tweens now but Hooper and Joyce are aces. Dark S2 is still my favorite from casting to writin...

Re: Mark Maggiori

I actually think he’d sell more if he split them up to 1 a month, but he’ll do what he thinks works. I’ll call it milking when he starts doing drops more than 2-3 times a year. Mark dropped one print a year ago and with this upcoming release it will be an additional seven prints in seven months. Ei...

Re: Hush

Was actually talking about the one on the right. Something not right about the left side of the face especially that eye hole. Yep, exactly why I passed. Had it in the cart for a few minutes thinking about why I couldn't pull the trigger. Lovely image but I am big on subjects giving 'great face'. W...

Re: Can we get a Video Game subforum?

The wife says she thinks we should get a PS4. Are there any good bundle deals out there? I love my PS4 Pro. Well worth $400 considering the PS5 won't be dropping until 2020. Right now you could pre-order the Red Dead Redemption pack for retail so you get the game for free. But if you can wait until...

Re: New KAWS up

Big fan of open editions for the masses. The larger pieces dropped ages ago so shouldn’t affect their inherent value. I think it’s great that there are more Kaws figures available than ever. Nice to have at least one thing on the market that is not fueled by bots and resellers gorging. Kaws really n...
