Re: 2020 Elections - A New Hope

The debate was fantastic. Robust and very spirited. Bloomberg was the weakest and seemed quite indifferent to the relevancy of the group attack. It was encouraging to see how contentious they could be as a whole. I want to see fearless resolve when it comes to revealing policies and vast views. I wa...

Re: NBA 2019-2020

Agreed, Kobe’s death was incredibly tragic. I cried for ages and I’m not even a Lakers fan. We won’t see anyone as ambitious or relentless or dedicated to the game....and his daughter, just horrible.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

Giri/Haji on Netflix is fantastic. Set between Tokyo and London with a stellar cast and intriguing story, every episode is better than the last. Hoping for a Season 2.

Re: America: The Trump Era

I feel very strongly that as we head into 2021 we will be filled with far more hope and optimism than right now. That we will continue to pursue decency and do our collective best to right the many wrongs of the Trump administration. I do want to thank the engaged minds in this thread. As someone wh...

Re: A Wretched Hive - The Star Wars Movie Thread

Finally saw the film and loved it. A feeling of relief almost lol. Last Jedi was awful, not subversive, not intelligent, just someone trying to reinvent the wheel. JJ did a great job of capturing well deserved nostalgia and closing story arcs. The movie was intense and the characters were true to th...

The Mandalorian was incredible! Watched it several times already. IG-11 better be in the series, he was so fun and bought back Shadow of the Empire memories.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

'The King' was great. Really enjoyed how quiet the movie was until the impressive battle with Dauphin. It had a certain elegance to it as well as great accuracy about how grown men fight in full armor. Bash, bash, bash lol. Brutal.

Obvs aren't too familiar with avant. They seem to have a collector base with very deep pockets for just about anything they put out.
Yep, I am tempted by the new Jose Parla but that would mean no more art until next year.
