Re: The Deep Berkeley 09 Seabury

This is a superior piece of work, one of John's best. The pen
and ink work is amazing.

Nice score George!

Re: AOR 2.365 Wilderness Conference 67 Mouse Kelley

All originals were almost certainly printed at Bindweed Press.

Why the silver version has no Bindweed credit is a mystery. They

Re: Show Us Your Psychedelic Art

This is a strange one - anyone know anything about it? http://i1049.photobucket.com/albums/s385/funky7/IMG_9122_zps8tl88vwh.jpg Here's the story I've heard about this one. It's NR-13 in the Neon Rose series, and Moscoso printed a lot of them. Some guy got ahold of a big stack of them at some point....

I don't know if anyone's posted this yet. Nice homage to the Moonalice poster
family, with footage from Hanger 18.

Re: Show Us Your Psychedelic Art

This venue was great back in the day http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s573/jsoldano1/IMG_5549_zpsf9e68fab.jpg Crabshaw Corner was Elvin Bishop's club in downtown Sacramento, mid-1970's. Not many posters but a lot of nice handbills, most by Roger Shepherd. By the way, this building is now the loc...

Beautiful. Nice restrained choices on the inks with that flashy paper.

Nicely done Alex!

Re: Only Death is Real 12 Horkey

we must met up at TRPS this year. You know things are bad when a guy like me is talking to a guy named Trip or Freak and I come off like the hippie. :) I met Marty from TRPS a few weeks ago, and he was like, oh you're mistersmith. And I was like, well, I guess, but that guy's kind of an asshole, so...

Re: Bring back gigposters

Like any worthwhile thing, the more you get into the gigposter world, the more there
is to discover and appreciate.

Nothing against movie or art prints, but the gigposter will always be the gold standard,
and the foundation that EB was built on.

Re: Absolute MUST SEE gig posters

Great posts so far, and love the topic Jon. I think with vintage posters, it comes down to rarity and historic significance. With modern posters the printing craftsmanship is part of the consideration. The most amazing poster I ever got to see belonged to a guy who hung out at Kepler's Bookstore in ...

Re: TRPS San Francisco 13 Seabury

Amazingly, we had a few of the Seabury prints remaining after the show. TRPS has decided to offer them here to EB members who couldn't make it to the TRPS Festival on 10/19. So here's your chance to get it. Shipping included for $70. Of course, all proceeds from the sale go to the TRPS Artist Relief...
