I'm surprised these are still available on Todd's site.

Re: Amazon Prime Streaming

Ok, we finally got dis fudge in NZ. Your Top 5 shows, if ye please...please? My current favorite amazon originals or ones they took over for other networks: 1. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel- very good all-around. 2. Jack Ryan- I enjoyed this series (both seasons) almost as much as the Tom Clancy movies...

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

Via Daniel Danger's Twitter: I THINK YOU SHOULD LEAVE w/ TIM ROBINSON is like if a TV network went through the whole process of creating funding filming editing promoting and releasing a comedy series but nobody did the background check on its star which would have revealed he was a legit serial ki...

I finished that this past weekend. It reminded me of another show or movie, but I can't quite place which one. I did enjoy it though.

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

I find her weirdly active. Fixed. I'm watching the second season of Rebellion - about the Irish Easter Uprising in 1916 and subsequent events. It's a good filler miniseries for those of you between binged seasons of your favorite shows. If you're a fan of Game of Thrones, Season 1 has a lot of fami...

Re: Amazon Prime Streaming

I thought the second season was even better. Really quick watch even though the eps are an "hour" long. P.S. Finally getting around to watching Man in High Castle S3. Hopefully it's not disappointing considering they seem to be getting much more heavily into the time travel/astral plane stuff. Seas...

Re: Amazon Prime Streaming

Really love Patriot- it’s so absurd and well done. Halfway through S2 now. I hate that Patriot hasn't had the hype that shows like The Night Manager and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel have gotten. They're all excellent shows in their own right, but Amazon's content marketing strategy is a mystery. Not sure ...

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

So I finished Ozark and agree that it is Breaking-Bad level television. I also started The Last O.G., because Tracy Morgan cracks me up. It has potential, but I'm withholding judgment for at least another couple episodes. I also spotted Look Who's Back (on Netflix) again, and might have to watch it ...

The light cast by LED lamps contains very few infrared rays and no ultraviolet rays, so most are safe by default. You can read about some here: http://www.usailighting.com/stuff/contentmgr/files/1/bfe46e614fceb1660609fa8d4c26fec9/misc/protectionfromlightdamage_nedcc2.pdf And find some good products ...

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

Turning great movies* into TV series is a weird thing - but not a new one! (MASH) It is an odd phenomenon I guess, but the viewing public is so fickle when it comes to anything truly "new" on TV. MASH is a great example of a good film-to-TV transition. Most people I talk to about it either love the...

Re: Netflix Streaming Finds.

I'm surprised to not see any mention of Get Shorty in this thread, which was actually thoroughly enjoyable. I also am looking forward to another season of Lost in Space even though the Will Robinson character isn't one I'm sympathetic to. Netflix should take a hint from it's shows like House of Card...
