why is the variant brown? wouldn't it have made more sense to make it red? i don't own movie posters so maybe i'm missing something. the black/white one is such an amazing poster all around. congrats to all of you who bought this. i almost reconsidered my no movie posters rule for this.

I was wondering the same, but perhaps that would've been too heavy for the poster. Red can be very strong. Sepia adds a vintage flavour to the print. Makes it more classy. I prefer the black because of the red and it's much darker / gothic overall.

40 on the bay @ last count. Ridiculous. Sell~bid~buy has a listing for both so technically 37. That listing was @ $120 for both & before anyone bid it got raised to $180.

Hmmmm those are very nice.... I have a feeling the Var. will have an antiqued look to it & the B&W is just lean and Mean!
Can't decide on what I like more...

If I could have added just one thing to an already perfect image...

...a single red teardrop running out of the corner of one of those terrified eyes would have been absolutely maddening.

I'm stoked like Bram to get this print in hand!!!

+1 on the black/white and it is the superior art. the black renders depth and nuances that the sepia flattens to a modern take on a daguerreotype.
i'm just sayyyyyin. congrats to all.

Grabbed a regular from a color scheme perspective as i think this regular will go better with the Bride variant and vice versa:

Dracula = Blood = Red. Those red accents are perfect and definitely prefer the regular over the variant this time.
