When using the "Save Collection" option, information from the "edition details" for each print should be incorporated. the primary reason i say this is because, when shopping for mylar sleeves, or when considering framing a print or 2, there is no easy way to access the sizes of all my prints - you have to go through them all individually. It would be much easier if we could somehow get that information into the .pdf file that results from using "Save Collection"....I hope this makes sense....It would be extremely useful (for example, i have several great quality frames, but want to swap out the prints in them for better/more valuable ones. There's no easy way to determine which of my prints is an exact size match. thanks a lot.

Just as a heads up, you should always measure each print yourself. Don't always go by what any site says. They are not all cut perfect to size and some can sometimes run a little smaller or run a little bigger than what is listed.

you could always add a note for the size.. then when you look at your collection it would say it underneath..

i put the number and if it's framed on mine..

i too put the number, quantity, framed, where i bought it from, etc. But why should i have to enter information that's already on the site, associated specifically with the print i'd be updating? Seems like this should be an extremely easy fix.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything, but is it really that hard to just click on the page and see the size of the print? I know you want to check it on your pdf, but come on, take an extra 10 seconds and look it up. I would imagine the mods have enough on their plate.

i have 100's of prints. So yes, it is that hard to just click on the page. I want a hard copy of my eb collection, including the info associated with each print. That's what the "save collection" document is there for. I'm sure the mods have enough on their plate, and i'm hardly here to give them a hard time, but i'm not asking for a total restructuring of the website. I'm asking that the details specific to the print be included in the "Save Collection" document. It already includes title, edition, class, artist, and band. What do these things all have in common? They're fact. Finite. Permanent. They do not change from one eb user to another. If you and I have the same print, then the title, edition, class, etc, will be identical. The same applies to print size.

The personal info entered is: Price Paid, Date Acquired, Acquired From, Number, Quantity, Note. What do those things all have in common? They're ALL unique to every eb user. I may have paid more than you, you got yours on a different date, we both acquired the print from different places, etc. Why should someone have to enter a permanent piece of information in a section devoted specifically to the details of each individual user.

If all those other pieces of permanent, specific info on the print are included, why shouldn't size be?

Why do you care that i'm asking for something that I would find to be extremely useful? Why would you even comment on this? is this how you spend your time? hopping around the forum, inserting unnecessary comments in threads that don't affect you in any way, whatsoever? Seriously. If they implement this change, how would it negatively impact your life?

"I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything..." Typically, when a sentence starts with "I'm not trying to be a dick", you're probably going to sound like a dick. Typically, when a sentence starts with "I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything, but..." you are absolutely going to sound like a dick. You had no idea why i wanted this change, or what my situation is. I didn't need the size of a single print. I didn't need to know just for framing. I needed to know for MANY reasons - I collect art. it's helpful to have all pertinent info on hand. going through hundreds of pages, 1 at a time, is a ridiculous solution. So, someone who says "i'm not trying to be a dick, but..." then criticizes me for wasting the mod's time, while giving a totally uninformed opinion on my situation....yeah, you definitely sound like a dick.

I have a print out of all my prints with each size i leave in my car.
Really is handy when i make a sporadic stop to the framer.
I revise it every 6 months (ish).

Whoa...why don't we take it down a notch.

Somebody made a pretty good suggestion to help you with your question and you don't feel this is something you want to do. When I said I wasn't trying to sound like a dick, I truly wasn't. I said it because you can't really detect tone when you read a words on a computer screen. I said that because when you replied:

But why should i have to enter information that's already on the site, associated specifically with the print i'd be updating?

I felt you were sounding like a bit of a dick. When I read it, it came across as a "why the hell should I have to do it? It's their site and they should fix it" kind of tone to it. That's how I read it. I don't think you meant to come off that way, but again, words on a screen.

If you don't want people to offer suggestions and advice, perhaps next time you should just send an pm to the mods which you can do through your inbox. That way you won't have to deal with people you think are trying to be dicks but really aren't.

Well Adam, your entire original post made you sound like a dick. If you want the site to change based solely on your needs, why don't you cite a little gratitude first of all, instead of demanding shit.

The very first reply was helpful, NOT EVERY PRINT IS IDENTICAL. Yet your response was to say that "yes, thank you, I know that." Then you later go on to say that every print IS identical in size within the edition. You directly contradicted yourself in your own words. And for someone who obviously takes special pride in their skills of argument and debate, it's pretty comical to see
