my #1 goes to super punch out for SNES. and i agree with smith both about having a gaming subforum and setting up trades.

Currently playing a bunch of games on steam that i picked up dirt cheap during their holiday sale. Trine is a GREAT game for $5 and titan quest is amusing enough since I never did the whole diablo thing. I bought crysis and stalker clear sky but I haven't played them yet.

Cool. I need Bioshock for the PC. Anyone need God of War 1, 2, or both?

Contra was my favorite nes game. Mega man was really good too, was that for sega? N64 faves were turok dinosaur hunter and mariokart 64.

my company gave me a wii with a wii fit at my holiday party so I figured I'd try out the new side scrolling Mario.

New super Mario on wii crushes so hard. I just nerded out and beat it (first video game I've played since ffx) and Ill just let me borrow Zelda twilight princess. I bet it's a rager. I'm a sucker for Zelda.

maybe a "sports & leisure" subforum would be more useful in gathering up some loose threads

Pressing Start to switch between kicking and punching? Forget that. MK was way better on Super Nintendo.

not once you have purchased the 8 button controller for the genesis.

best games ever:

crystal castles (arcade)
snatcher (sega CD)
ogre battle (SNES)
Bombliss (SNES)
blast corps (N64)
contra (arcade)
parodius (SNES)
RType III (gameboy)
all infocom adventures. on all platforms.

worst idea ever: megadrive + sega CD + X32. what the drymount were they thinking?
runner up: atari jaguar. yeah, 16 bit gfx on a 64 bit machine. good idea, eh?

YES

Most of my favourites are on Nintendo systems, but I do enjoy the graphics of the PS3.

river city ransom, dragon warrior, bubble bobble, and zelda were the best original NES games made. Kid Iccurus was good also

anybody a mario 2 fan? it might be my favorite of the original bunch, and it wasn't originally going to be a mario game, they just tossed mario characters in it because they needed to made a new mario game

Mario 3 was the best, imo, but most of them were fun.

Mariocart on N64 was grrreat!

I traded my Sega Mega CD + ££££s for a Philips CDi with digital video cartridge when that first came out. CDi never really went anywhere, but I had a lot of fund playing Burn Cycle a couple of times before it started to DO MY HEAD IN  Still used the CDi as a regular CD player until recently.

Now I don't have a console at all, but any time I'm away with my gf, we'll take her DS with us for the journey.
