I certainly realize they are screen prints, It just looks different than all the other screen prints I have. Why do you say "probably the highest quality?"

have you ever seen a screenprint with that much detail that actually looks like a painting?

Good point! looking at my collection all the art that began as multi color paintings are Giclees. I'm going to take out my Kinsey and look again tonight. Maybe I'll grow my appreciation for paintings to screen prints after another look. Thanks for the direction.

yeah exactly, prints that look like paintings are usually giclees or lithos, screenprinting is a much more labor intensive process that does not translate well to paintings usually since each color is laid down individually dried and then so on...

true, just recently with the prints that resemble paintings, in the past they have had a normal flat finish

I am a big fan of BLK MRKT and the represented artists. My only critique is I feel they have perfected the screen printing process in such a way it has lost some of its integrity. I am from the old school style of screen printing. I like for my prints to have a build up of texture and color only achieved through uneven pressure and pulling. I have an appreciation for all forms of art, I just tend to gravitate towards those that are highly human influenced.

Just got mine this morning and it is absolutely stunning. I can hopefully take pics but I just moved and I'm afraid my camera is deep in storage.

If anyone gets around to pics, and can get some good detail of the text in the petals, I'd like to know what's going on in there so I can know how bumed I am not to have this print. Thanks.
