Always love mark's concepts, the execution sometimes gives me pause...
Beautiful layout but it's extremely 'digital'-looking.. flip through flikr for many RAW hd sky images just like the background.. gotta be quite a bit of halftoning unless it's a crazy amount of colors so halftone haters beware

Everyone I know that is outside of the poster collecting world is amazed by Mark's work as soon as they see it.

What's fascinating to me is how much he has improved over time. It's all right there in his portfolio.

Definitely, I have Wirewalker and Spurned framed up in my master-bedroom. I love Wirewalker and my fiancée loves Spurned, although it's hardly my favorite Brabant. When we have guests, every one of them is drawn to Spurned; they all seem to love it too. I shake my head because I have McCarthy's The Woods very nicely framed on another wall and yet people still go right to that Spurned. When I pull out Mark's other stuff from the flat file, they really seem to dig it.

Brabant is certainly evolving and I really like the direction he appears to be going. He's one of the few artists who seem to handle criticism- constructive or otherwise- in a healthy and reflective manner. I think that is echoed in each of his subsequent prints.

Here are a few close up pics of the actual print that Mark wanted to share with everyone here at EB. I must say that D&L did a bang up job as always.

I have to admit, those pics actually look really good.

I'm still a bit uneasy as to how close it is to the Royksopp video (just look at the screengrab even): http://secretnotebookswildpages.blogspo ... pp-on.html
