I've got mail.
The verdict is in:
Foe-ing someone will not block PMs from said foe-ees.
This has been a test of the EB FOE system. Had this been an actual FOE application, the involved parties would have exchanged all of, but not limited to the following: harsh words, profanities, vulgarities, threats accusations or other misanthropic remarks. Any remarks exchanged during this test were for administrative purposes only and should not be regarded as offensive or imply animosity. Thank you for your cooperation.

Regarding Foe email: If someone you've foed takes it upon themselves to keep contact with you via pm, you can adjust your mail settings to delete their email as soon as it arrives, therefore keeping your email clean of unwanted trash.
Go to User Control Panel (upper left corner of any forum page)
click on "Private Messages" tab
click on "Rules, Folders, & Settings" tab on the left
under "Add New Rule", next to "if", pick "sender" from dropdown menu, click next
pick "is" from next dropdown, click next
enter offending username to blank field, click next
pick "delete message" from next dropdown, click "add rule"
All future emails from that person will immediately be deleted without you ever having to see them, and without them taking up any space.

your posts still show up to them, they have no idea you have them foed.lsmith55 wrote:If you add someone to your foe list- I know that their posts will be blocked from your view, but will your posts be hidden from them? Or will your posts still be visible to them?
If anyone is curious this is what it looks like when someone on your foe list posts on the forum. There's an option to "Display this post" if you curious what they wrote.
