Lol.
First time I saw it on a pizza, we ordered… whatever it was at a fancy pizza joint about 5 years ago. They asked if we wanted some arugula on it and the wife said sure. They brought a box or two full. Not sure what gives.

Agree with that.
Lol. Kalua pig, prosciutto, crumbled sausage, pickled jalapeño and onions, pesto and roasted pablanos were the highlights. First tried salad pizza, with prosciutto, at some joint next to the Met. So friggin cold outside anything warm was going to be good. It's stuck since.
Should have noted the costco pizza was not from the courtyard but a readymade dish at the counter in the back. Never had the courtyard za.
Wanda: I can't stand people. I hate them. Do you hate them?
Henry: No, but I seem to feel better when they're not around.

I read recently that this place was no longer on Thayer st in Providence and thought that it had closed. I'm happy to find out just now that it moved!

This is one of my all time favorites, have never seen anything that hits the same notes anywhere else:

Finally was able to try out Austin Street Pizza in Forest Hills and really liked it.
Was nearby for work and picked up a regular and Margarita slice.

can relate with no lettuce comment - argula and basil being different
that amount of arugula though - whoa, right now mines super strong in the garden, growing all season, be like dumping a can of ground pepper - no way
pretty hearty plant to be still be growing here this time of year

My fave place around here makes a fantastic insalata pizza. Never would have ordered it but a couple years back friends were in town and ordered one. We were hooked. It’s really an antipasto on a no-cheese pizza. Chopped romaine, roasted red peppers, olives, red onion and lots of parm cheese all tossed with their killer balsamic and put on top of a red sauce pizza. We usually add Genoa salami as well. Don’t knock it until you try it! Gotta be dressed though, drymount that fistful of a bunch of dry arugula thrown in top of a pizza.

Nice bit of chew but with still a solid crunch and a bit airy too. Not too much work to finish a slice off at the end.
