^ Exactly.

What made the Hitchcock stuff work SO well was his ability to use his creativity yet maintain the look and feel of the original Hithcock one sheets. Its almost like they could have been alternative posters at the time, yet they felt completely new.

yes. LD has definitely "lost" something to me . . . just can't quite seem to get back that magic from some of his earlier work, especially what he did with the Hitchcock and Universal Monsters prints.
