What are you watching.....RIGHT NOW!!!
Watched Family Man, finished just now. Whatever everyone says, it is a good flick, aside from the part "I imagined us to grow old in this house" etc. I actually teared up a couple of times.
P.S. I have been away from my wife and kids for almost ten days now and I don't think I can express how much I miss them. Picking them up from the airport in about 20 hours from now though. Yaaaay!

MARY SHELLEY
Elle Fanning gives a strong performance as a young Mary Shelley. This film deals with the tragedies in her young life that lead to her ultimately penning the Frankenstein novel (something with which I still need to read along with Bram Stoker's DRACULA). What I admire about Elle is the soft and delicate young women she can portray but then in an instant, she can turn that kindness into a fire you wouldn't expect she is capable of spewing based on her looks alone. Also, this is an interesting story of a young woman trying to find her voice during a male dominated period. 5.5/10

^^ I saw LADY BIRD in theaters and agree, it was a very well done coming of age picture. I need to revisit it again.

IVAN THE TERRIBLE PART I
Beautifully shot. Fantastic sets, costumes, cinematography and powerful acting. Even in black and white, visually it's a stunning picture and can absolutely see Russian pride beaming throughout. 8/10
IVAN THE TERRIBLE PART II
Not as visually stunning as its predecessor, but the story is more evolved and goes into just how Ivan earned the nickname "The Terrible." Although some of the film was shot in color and the red was busting onscreen. 7/10
Originally it was planned as a trilogy but Stalin canned it after not liking Part II. I would have liked to have seen where Director Sergei Eisenstein would have taken it.

The combination of Goldsmiths Total Recall dream sequence score along with great character moments make this along with T2 one of my favorite teasers.
The film itself kept up the tension despite knowing the outcome.
Just finished this up. Not bad. I love PT Anderson and Daniel Day Lewis, both. This is not either of their best work, but still rather good (I don't think you could possibly end up with a bad film, with those two)
So it goes...

Angels Baseball!
Lies are a funny thing. They slip through your fingertips because they never happened to you. Time wounds all the heals as we fade out of view
