Actually yes. FOX/ACME ARCHIVES can go after Rory since he in fact sold copies. studios and their lawyers don't care if it's one or 5 or 500... If they want. They can also cancel all listings on ebay as bootleg AND go after people who sold them. That's extreme, and yes some studios do this. I actually know two artists who can no longer work with Lucasfilm now due to things like this.

Blacklisting happens. It's just not exactly a loud everybody-hears-about-it kind of thing.

H-m-m-m...

I wonder if the studios check for this sort of thing when they're approached for licensing. A vetting process , (for lack of a better term), on the artist, first. This might be when they discover bootleggers and fudge hits the fan.

I guess you'd know. I remember when my ebay listing for your Terminator handbill got taken down #greedyMondo

To be clear

My nope was in reference to IF something will happen. It’s extremely doubtful.

Possible? Yes.

Probable? Would be SHOCKED if something happened.

It is sort of a risky move though, even if really low probability. I guess I'd just be really wary about jinxing the sweet thing I had going, if it were me. He's gotten into a pretty rad spot, working with studios directly on their official promotional material. Like why even take the slightest chance of screwing that up? But Rory's obviously a big boy and can make his own decisions. :-) Would just hate for something so small in the grand scheme of his career to mess him up.
So it goes...
