flat white foil print
Are there any images of what flat white foil looks like?
Curious about this as well. Cursory googling leads me to believe that it looks like white paper with a varnish/gloss sheen over it.
The IG post was a little more clear stating it's foil stamping.

I think the flat white foil stamping will look good.
Appreciated. I'm sure silver will look great on it but white may end up being the winner for me just on contrast level being more pronounced.

Hoping for some video/insta stories showing this. I'm having trouble envisioning something that's both 'flat' and 'foil'

24” frame standard with 0.75” fillet?

I dont actually make frames, but does that sound like it would work?

not really. would still need to account for the .75 difference which would be halved due to the sides. so it would be a 24 x 24 inch frame (which isn't exactly standard but doable) with 3/8th inch space on all sides. so a mat as well.

Some of the fillets cost as much as the regular moulding anyway. You might as well just go full custom. #ballersonly

that's big . . . floated would look good, but not much edge around the print in a 24x24. Like someone else said that's a lot of wall-estate.

feel like they would've sold more and it would look better at 12 x 12.

at least the embossing is in the image and not on a giant border.

yes, to both. I'm still probably in on this . . . but I'm also unclear on the flat white - if it's the brighter white of the two images Mitch posted, than that's the one I prefer. If it's the darker one, I'm less interested (and can't justify even trying for the $200 variant if that's the "whiter" one; plus no bot and I suck on drops, ha.)

I imagine the silver foil is the darker one

yeah, that's what I was thinking - sure it will look great too when it's not a flat jpeg; I just like the bright white against all that black much more.
