Yup, the BBT is going to be my bottle for a straight BA Stout tasting. I think we have 2 or 3 Assassin years, OG Rare, BBT, and then a few others.chalkdust wrote:oh man, BBT is a hype train beast right now! It's really good though, definitely deserved. And of course the BA Coffee Shop is pretty phoenomenal as well. Awesome scores all over the place there

a few good pickups tonight; the Mason's Hipster Apocalypse has art by my friend Ben Bishop - he's a comic artist on IDW's TMNT and he's got a back up story coming in Savage Dragon in a few months. Pretty decent beer.

Sump and Abraxxas hit stores out here. Still have 2 more CBS and I thought it was good as well. Don't know if hype is real on the older bottles though

The cbs bottled version in Milwaukee was pretty bland, it was my last straw with founders. I may buy an occasional breakfast stout at a bar but their wares taste really watered down compared to a few years ago. I’m jelly of the keg tap of cbs, never caught one off the spout in time always two minutes too late.
