I can't remember the title...
The fury of a patient man?
Loved it.

Agree... Still better than most crap they have been throwing out.
They have a lot to work with having two people play the same lead guy, all the history slowly inserted is pretty cool.
My main gripe is hiring a detective that has missed the last 250 years with that kind of technology everywhere.
Like a sheriff from Reno 1768 in charge of cyber crime today... Uhh... Okay...
Yeah I don't think I can finish this after 5 episodes in. What I thought were interesting concepts have been completely overshadowed by the constant sex and violent scenes. I usually do not mind at all, in fact revel in its intent when it's part of the narrative and well done....like the outstanding 'Westworld', but they are dull. I barely can make out what the Detective is saying, her English is awful and Joel Kinnaman seems out of place. The visuals are too bright, I want dirt and rain ALL the time and why on earth do wealthy people enjoy wearing sheets or beige lol. I like the Hotel owner, he seems ironically full of substance and 'humanity', but overall the show seems mediocre. I love great storytelling. That's why I enjoyed 'Mindhunter' and 'Dark' the most from last year. :)

Talk about a fudge show that shouldn't have been drymounted with by JJ. I'm all for expanding the Cloverfield universe, but don't buy a movie that has nothing to do with it, reshoot some, then stamp Cloverfield on it.

Ha! I watched post Super Bowl, so I wasn’t exactly “all there.” A little more than half paying attention it was fun, but I’ve seen nothing but bad reviews, which I get.

I’m bailing on altered carbon as well.

But again, I liked “The Five” and “Retribution.” Those Brits got the whole crime drama mini series thing down.

I finished Altered Carbon. Can't really recommend, but I think those who like the SyFy channel shows will still like it.

I turned off Altered Carbon during the second episode. I can not follow what the hell is going on...maybe I'm just really confused why they brought back a terrorist to solve a crime. If that's solved later, cool, but I can't get over it now.

Altered Carbon. Meh. Gave it a go, twice, and fell asleep both times. Didn't get past the 2nd episode.

I think I'm enjoying Altered Carbon (5 eps in) because I read the books and love them. The show is like a Wikipedia synopsis of the books written by someone who didn't quite understand the books . . . but that being said, it's always neat seeing something you loved reading brought to life. The set design and action is good.
