I miss him, too. I dig his style and I loved that he chose to celebrate classic films. His Kubrick posters remain some of my favorites.

His Kubrick posters were some of his best, I agree.

I never stopped loving his Chinatown Castro Theater print. Simple image, but spot on from a thematic standpoint.

His Chinatown poster is so good. I feel the same way about the marionette soldier and firing squad on his poster for Paths of Glory. Simple and nails the theme perfectly.

And while it's not my favorite poster of his, I get a charge every time I look at his poster for Night of the Hunter, possibly my favorite guilty pleasure movie.

NotH is another one of my DoD favorites.

It would have been a hugely popular film, if not for the fact that it is creepy AF :lol:
