Anyone know what happened or what became of David? Kind of crazy that he just disappeared like that.

My mom has a Wizard of Oz set hung up in the TV room. My brother, who doesn't really collect posters, started calling the Oz's the "Pappy O'Daniels" after a screening of O Brother, Where Art Thou? a few years ago. Still calls them that and it always brings a chuckle.

Where art thou, Pappy O'Daniel?

Great prints, he used the limited color palette so well. Gig poster aesthetic for movie prints.

Shame it all went pear shaped....

I put his Chinatown in my rotating 18x24 frame recently, forgot how much I liked that print.

It is a mystery, I visited him years ago when he was in the middle of now where Ohio with Stephanie and hung out for the day. Had a great studio setup and was going to offer framing.

Because O'Daniel's story interests me and others. Also, his art remains of interest to collectors who may wonder why his output ceased abruptly.

Why let this information evaporate?

IDK why you're down on O'Daniel? He had some trouble in the end there but produced a wonderful body of work. Here's a couple in my collection—
