Yeah, that format didn’t help at all. I just want to know if there was anything else to it aside from a covered up acid casualty.turnJBup wrote:I gave up.bryndavies wrote:willg wrote:I agree but plan on sticking it out, only two episodes in. Was kind of surprised, I've always found MK ultra themed shows interesting. Hopefully it picks up.bryndavies wrote:Wormwood proving hard to get into, and seems kinda flat.
I was in the same place and went on to ep 3, but have since stopped. Let us know if something changes.
I would have been happy watching a documentary or a drama.
drymount the back and forth.
Terrible idea.

Great review...
“The Emoji Movie” owned up to the fact that it was just putting fudge on screen; at least “The Emoji Movie” had the courtesy to dress it up in a bowtie."
"the constipated dialogue scenes that surround them tend to repeat the same points ad nauseam, as though they were written to accommodate a teenage kid who’s multi-tasking between the movie he’s watching in one window and the porn he’s streaming in another."

The guy who directed End of Watch directed Suicide Squad and Bright? What a waste... (End of Watch was really good.)
I watched The Toys That Made Us episodes on Star Wars and He-Man at work today. Fun watch.

I thought Bright was worse than bad- it was boring. I enjoy bad movies sometimes, but it was dull. It honestly didn't seem like it cost 90M to make- looked like a bad made for TV movie.
Anyway, stoked for the two Chappelle specials on Sunday!

New season of Black Mirror is up
Watched the first couple new Black Mirror eps so far, the first was fun. The second I enjoyed even more.
It’s different than when the show started but still quite entertaining IMO.
Also watched Remember starring Plummer and thought it was great.
