Jacob van Loon- Ashen Light. Really bad pic with no natural light, but very excited to receive this. My second piece of his, with another commission in the works.
There's an inch border around the piece with a nice deckled edge at the bottom, but I'm totally not comfortable with float mounting myself and I wanted to get it on the wall. I went with a thick 8-ply mat and picked a frame that would allow me to float it once I feel good about technique. Minor gaps and spacing issues were fixed after taking this pic, btw.

Title: ‘Farewell’
Medium: Ink and Oil on Paper
Dimensions: 11.8” x 15.7”
Framing: Framed
Year of Creation: 2017
About the Artwork:
“The piece is actually an experiment in some ways, as normally the face and facial expression of the subject is most important to me. It is a very emotional portrait for me, and a one I painted during an important turning point in my life, where I said goodbyes and left behind me people and situations that did not serve me for the better anymore. So this is a personal icon for me now.” – Jana Brike

The beach is a strictly 18+ beach, so you shouldn't catch any flack with this one
