It's cute that they put this disclaimer up there. There is always a way to get your money back.

Yeah I'm not going by their disclaimer. Just wanted to see if people had luck in the past.

from the looks of your pics.... it does LOOK like you did that (not saying you did) when unrolling it. always make sure you photograph it as early as possible and not when it looks like it was removed and unrolled. i dunno. good luck.

Agree with you both obviously. It's def. funny that the disclaimer is up there.

"hey I ordered a print it arrived damaged"
"sorry read the disclaimer"
"ok let's see what my cc / paypal has to say"

This. I mean they wouldn't send you a ripped print. And that tear lines up conspicuously where the the tape was.

Not sayin. Just sayin. Good luck.

stuckeyc wrote:Yeah i would prepare to be dealing with paypal. I have twice had to deal with camp brainwash for damage/missing print. Both times it was a lot of legwork, unreturned emails etc. It took finding a phone number to call them to get any results. That was years ago before they even put the disclaimer on the site. My prediction is they will try to say you did it so tough luck
^ this.

drymount that. I’d go straight to PayPal then and open a claim.

Agree. There is no way that the damage was created in transit, so it either left MBW like that or the receiver did it. I'm pretty sure I know where MBW's position will be.

I noticed the new 'instructions' with the Obey invoice about how to unroll a print. Seems more than a few peeps can't get their heads around craft paper...

That's actually just extra hand finishing by MBW and he didn't even charge you more, lucky!
